New President Strengthens Organizational Ties
Steen Andersen Relocates from Headquarters

Boston, MA – Steen Andersen, previously of Maconomy in Copenhagen, returns to the US to lead new initiatives for business solution software.

As Maconomy delves into its 100% dedication to industry focus in the United States, Steen Andersen takes the lead with extensive experience with Maconomy, from consulting to managing. With a Masters Degree in Economics, Steen’s education is in business, and his background includes accounting, reporting and implementation, rounding out solid strengths in how the Maconomy business solution platform works to improve every aspect of a company’s profit.

Steen’s ties to the US office were first formed when he was Special Projects Team Leader and Acting Professional Services Director for Maconomy in Boston, 2000. Steen also draws from similar bonds with operations in Denmark and the UK, which will facilitate communications and support between the US office and headquarters.

This change parallels the parent’ and local company’s emphasis on growth, collaboration and active response. It is expected to integrate well with Maconomy’s aggressive product release schedule.

Steen’s return to the US follows a recent conference in Copenhagen themed, “Collaborate to Win,” which was attended by nearly 200 Maconomy employees from five countries. Collaboration was initiated there with personal interaction and continued through the introduction of an internal online communications platform.

Clients that collaborate with Maconomy win continuously improved solutions, and help keep Maconomy a nimble step ahead of the larger solutions providers.
